The Return of "Caliente" with Eddie Palmieri on Salsa Con Jazz

Salsa con Jazz will participate in the annual Jazz Appreciation Month by rebroadcasting the 4-part series “Caliente” hosted by NEA Jazz Master Eddie Palmieri, which was recorded in part at KUVO JAZZ featuring Eddie with special guests, that include Monty Alexander, Joe Locke, David Sánchez, and Brian Lynch with the Eddie Palmieri La Perfecta ensemble.

The first part of the series will air on Salsa con Jazz beginning at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, and will continue on the following Sundays, April 13, April 20, and April 27, to complete the series.

The Caliente series was recorded in 2006 and was aired on over 200 stations. Two episodes were recorded at KUVO JAZZ, co-hosted by Carlos Lando, and two were recorded in New York City.
