Live & Local: “Romeo & Juliet – The Choice” on stage at The Colorado Conservatory of Dance
In the canon of classical ballet, Romeo and Juliet is one of the most beloved, but the Colorado Conservatory of Dance spring show presents the dance in a somewhat unusual format. “Romeo & Juliet – The Choice” gives the audience the opportunity to choose the ending they want to see – the classic Shakespearean ending, or a different ending that composer Sergei Prokofiev wrote. Sandra Shih Parks is Executive and Artistic Director of the Broomfield based conservatory, and she joins us on The Morning Set.
Details on Saturday’s performances at the Mapleton Arts Center, on North Broadway, just off the Boulder Turnpike here: Colorado Conservatory of Dance.
