Domi Edson is an emerging force as a jazz bassist and composer originally from Seattle and now residing in Denver. With her compelling sound, personal recordings, and exciting live performances, she is quickly establishing herself as a rising star on the national scene. The Domi Edson Trio has performed all across North America including Frankie’s Jazz Club (Vancouver, B.C.), The Royal Room (Seattle), Yardbird Suite (Edmonton, AB), live on KUVO 89.3, Dazzle, the Five Points Jazz Festival, and at the International Society of Bassists Conference. As a Sidewoman, Domi has performed with Terrell Stafford, Jason Marsalis, Charles McPherson, Greg Gisbert, Dawn Clement, Shane Endsley, Ben Markley, and many more. Reminiscent of groups like the Ray Brown and Oscar Peterson Trios, the Domi Edson Trio performs a unique collection of new and reimagined music and has three records to their name. Their infectious swing will have you wanting to come back for more!
