Andrew Elwood is a young jazz drummer in the Denver/Chicago areas. In May of 2024, he graduated from Denver School Of The Arts and is now currently attending college at Roosevelt University’s music school in Chicago.
Andrew was also part of the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz High School Forum, Colorado’s All State Jazz Band, CCJA Jazz Messengers, Telluride All Stars, and is a YoungArts winner for 2024. Andrew has played with groups both as a sideman and a leader and has played at venues and festivals such as, Muse, Dazzle, Vail Jazz Festival, and the Telluride Jazz Festival.
