Live & Local: Chloé Duplessis on The Colorado Black Equity Study

Chloé Duplessis in the KUVO Studios

DENVER, Colo. — History Colorado announced that Denver-based historian, curator, and artist Chloé Duplessis has been selected as the Colorado Black History Research Program Manager. The Colorado Black Equity Study is community-envisioned legislative measure that aims to conduct evidence-based historical research, of practices, systems, and policies of the State of Colorado that may have caused harm to Black Coloradans . In this role, Chloé will be leading a team of researchers as they not only conduct their research, but also work with the community to gather first-hand accounts from Black Coloradans in our state.

Chloé recently joined Carlos Lando, Steve Chavis, and Abi Clark on KUVO's The Morning Set to share more on this new research study with our listeners and invite Coloradans to share their story.
