Hugh Ragin Creative Orchestra show cases his vision of sound shapes and tonal colors over rhythmic variations. Hugh Ragin has worked extensively with Maynard Ferguson, Sun Ra, Roscoe Mitchel, David Murray, The Art Ensemble of Chicago, Anthony Braxton, and Fred Wesley. Hugh’s Creative Orchestra utilizes a harmonically daring approach that combines bebop, post-bop, free jazz and collective improvisation.
