Dave Devine Quartet: Playing Music off of 'Hive Mind'
Hive Mind is the debut recording of a trio featuring Dave Devine on 6, 12, & baritone guitars & electronics, Greg Garrison on acoustic bass, and Scott Amendola on drums, cymbals & electronics. Tracked in an afternoon at Mighty Fine Productions in Denver (engineered by Colin Bricker), these six original compositions by Devine and two group improvisations were recorded live with no overdubs, editing or post-production. All effects, loops and processing were performed in the moment by Amendola and Devine.
