Boulder native B.K. Kahn began drumming, singing, and performing jazz standards in elementary school. At a young age, B.K.’s father introduced him to The Great American Songbook – which continues to profoundly influence B.K.’s music.  

A student at CU Boulder, B.K. has studied with some of the Colorado’s top jazz musicians, including Art Lande, Brad Goode, Paul Romaine, Jim White, Jeff Jenkins as well as nationally recognized artists Colin Stranahan and Erik Deutsch.

B.K. performed with 15-time Grammy Award winner Paquito D’ Rivera live in the KUVO studio. 

In 2013, B.K. was selected to be part of the Telluride Jazz Festival Student All-Stars. Currently, B.K. freelances in the Denver metro area and performs in several rock and jazz bands.
