Being a music junkie and working in radio during the ’70s resulted in host Geoff Anderson amassing an extensive record collection that he has kept intact to this day. Join Geoff every Tuesday evening at 8pm.

At 8:30pm, during his weekly feature, “The Vinyl Vault,”  – Geoff shares a record from his collection that isn’t in the KUVO library.

Arturo Gómez subs for Geoff on Election Night and his “Vinyl Vault” selection is the first recording of Monty Alexander as a leader, the out-of-print 1964 “Alexander the Great” LP for Pacific Jazz. The 20-year old Monty on piano with Victor Gaskin-bass and Paul Humphrey at the drums.
