Gentrification.  Denver's highest priced neighborhood.  A legacy of jazz.  Any guesses?  Redline's executive director Louise Martorano visited "First Take with Lando and Chavis" to describe her arts organization's summer outreach to the Five Points community.

In Denver, the arts and culture scene has grown so much in the three years that I've been here, and it's also matured, which has been so gratifying to watch.  But as this is going on, it's interesting to see the impact that the maturity of the community in general has on the arts and cultural scene.

Confluence Denver holds its first community forum this Thursday on the importance of "place" in Denver's quality of life.   Publisher of the online magazine Brian Boyle joined First Take to highlight the key questions facing citizens of Denver. The panel of architects, developers and moderator Tami Door of the Downtown Denver Partnership are part of the public gathering on Thursday, April 10, 2014, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
