This week’s edition of New Music Monday features 2 brand new recordings from veteran and popular Front Range artists, Neil Bridge 7+ featuring Karen Lee and  the Dale Bruning Sextet.

The pianist, composer, arranger and retired educator Neil Bridge releases his latest 7+ album, this time featuring vocalist Karen Lee who is also a renowned dancer. On This is Who We Are!, Karen debuts with 4 tracks while the remaining 7 are all swingin’ selections in a variety of styles, originals and covers songs.

The highly esteemed guitarist and educator Dale bruning who mentored a young Bill Frisell is back with a brand new 2-disc set, Thanks for the Memory…Jim Hall is as the tile implies a homage to late Jim Hall, one of Dale’s influences. Dale is accompanied by top ranked Denver players, Mark Simon, Paul Romaine, Mark Patterson and Ron Miles with special invited guest, Bill Frisell.

Drummer Robert Jospé has a 2-disc set in two formats, the first CD is a trio and the second disc is a quartet. The Robert Jospé Express’ Classics-Doin’ It Up offers, standards, pop music covers and original material.

We’ll also share some new music by the Art Lillard Heavenly Big Band featuring the seasoned vocalist Dominique Eade and others alongside some instrumentals.  Certain Relationships is  on the Summit label.

Pianist Marc Seales offers us American Songs-Peace & Time, a collection of pop covers from the 1950s through the 70s.

We’ll also share some other new arrivals by  the Chamber 3 out of Seattle, Australia’s Lisa Parrot, from Rochester, NY we’ll debut Brian Pareschi’s BP Express and time permitting another debut or 2 beginning at Noon, MTN time on Lunchtime at the Oasis. Please listen in.
