Wulfie’s Wax Museum – David Rose: “Distance Between Dreams”
Join host Michael Wulfsohn on Monday night for “Wulfie’s Wax Museum,” on the Monday Night Beat, as we explore the music of one of the foremost Jazz Fusion electric violinists, David Rose. His virtuosic technical abilities, and creative interpretation of the Jazz Fusion genre is clearly apparent in his 1977 LP, and 1st release as a leader, “Distance Between Dreams,” on the Inner City label.
David Rose recorded 7 albums as a leader, and played primarily in France between the mid-70’s and mid-80’s featuring fellow members of the band, “Transit Express.”
Don’t miss this fascinating fusion! Tune in on August 5 at 8:00 p.m. for “Wulfie’s Wax Museum” on the next Monday Night Beat, on KUVO Jazz.
