Wulfie’s Wax Museum: “80/81”

“Wulfie’s Wax Museum,” tonight, Monday, October 15 at 8 pm on the Night Beat, continues to pay tribute this month to the ECM Records label. We’ll come back to the highly influential, virtuoso guitarist, Pat Metheny. A man of many guitars, musical styles, and unique effects, we’ll take a listen to his 6th album as a leader, “80/81,” recorded in Oslo, Norway and released in 1980 as a 2-LP gatefold on the ECM label. Filling out the quintet are Jack DeJohnette, and the late, greats, Charlie Haden, Dewey Redman, and Michael Brecker. Tune in at 8 pm to the Monday Night Beat, on KUVO Jazz.
