One must travel south to Greenwood Village to taste the wares of The Wooden Table, featured this week on “First Take with Lando and Chavis.”  Co-owner Jane Knauf (with chef Brett Shaheen) visited KUVO for our “Eats & Beats” segment. 

  

Fine Italian dining is all about warmth and comfort, made easier with a warm and comfortable personality at the front of the restaurant, Gary Keller.  ”He changed our lives,” effused Knauf.  ”He will remember your name, your children’s names, what you drank, what you ate, where you went on vacation.  He makes everybody feel like they’re the most important person in the room, and he teaches our staff to do the same.”

In Westword’s “Best of” 2014 issue, The Wooden Table earned an editor’s nod  for “Best Front-of-the-House Staff.”  (Readers voted for Old Major.)
