Weaving Medicines at MSU Denver

On Wednesday Oct 23rd starting at 9:30 at St. Cajetan’s Event Center on the Auraria Campus Dr. Ricardo Carrillo (Clinical Psychologist and Curandero) will be speaking on mental health healing strategies to deal with the violence in our educational institutions. The event will  feature a blessing, talking Circles with traditional healers, a community reception and more.

Dr. Ramon Del Castillo, professor in the Chicano/a studies department and Curandera Charlene Barrientos Ortiz  stopped by KUVO to talk about the event, healing, and Dr. Carillo among other things.
