Vinyl Vault: “Warm Tenor” by Zoot Sims

This week’s Vinyl Vault will feature a 1979 album by Zoot Sims entitled “Warm Tenor.” This straight ahead set features Jimmy Rowles on piano, George Mraz on bass and Mousey Alexander on the drums. The set list includes many standards, both familiar and obscure. The album is on the Pablo Records label so you know it’s both tasteful and tasty…not to mention swingin’.
