Vinyl Vault—In Flagranti Delicto by Ian Carr & Nucleus

This week’s Vinyl Vault features an album by trumpeter Ian Carr and his band Nucleus entitled “In Flagranti Delicto.” This live album was recorded in Germany in 1977. Carr, from Scotland, was a Miles Davis acolyte, not only musically, but he also wrote a biography of Davis. It was Miles’ fusion period that most interested Carr musically and “In Flagranti Delicto” settles right into that groove.
