Vinyl Vault: “If You Could See Me Now” – Oscar Peterson
This week’s Vinyl Vault will feature a 1987 album from the Oscar Peterson Four entitled, “If You Could See Me Now.” Recorded in 1983 and released four years later, the album features Joe Pass on guitar, Niels-Henning Orsted Pedersen on bass and Martin Drew on drums. The quartet sweetly swings its way through Miles Davis’ “Weird Blues” as well as some Peterson originals and some standards like “Limehouse Blues” and “If I Should Lose You.” Join Geoff Anderson for the Vinyl Vault, this Tuesday at 8:30 on KUVO Jazz.
