The Meadowlark Jazz Jam is one of Denver’s longest-running jazz jam sessions (over ten years). Hosted by some of the finest jazz musicians around including Daryl Gott (sax), Gabriel Mervine (trumpet), Taylor Clay (sax), Tom Amend (keys), Patrick McDevitt (bass), and Dru Heller (drums), this session happens every Monday night from 8:30 - 11:30 pm at The Meadowlark. Jazz Odyssey Presents... “Off The Cuff - A Black Improv Music Experience.” Organized by Eman Alexander, this evening prioritizes BIPOC musicians to participate in an improvisational jazz rotation that attracts some of Denver’s most ambitious musical artists. The evening has an air of community and collaboration which starts at 9:30 pm and can extend late into the night.
