Traditional acoustic pre-war blues, featuring National slide guitar, upright bass & sousaphone, harmonica, and vocals. The trio performs delta blues, country blues, and folk blues based on the styles from the 1920s and 1930s. This old American blues was among the building blocks for jazz and the music that inspired Taj Mahal, Bonnie Raitt, and Ry Cooder.
