Together For Venezuela: A benefit for Venezuelan Humanitarian Organizations

Diana Higuera, Executive Director of Rocky Mountain Welcome Center (a nonprofit organization supporting immigrants and refugees) stopped by KUVO this week to discuss  an event that  SOS Venezuela Denver will be putting on called, Together for Venezuela. The event  happens Sunday July 29, 2018 from 3-8pm at the McNichols Civic Center Building to help provide humanitarian aid to Venezuela’s neediest people.

Diana explained how poverty is an epidemic in Venezuela, a country that has the largest oil reserves in the world, how inflation is affecting residents, how this event can give assistance to people in Venezuela and more.
