The Nightside Before Christmas

On December 21, 2015, Andy O’ was at KUVO studios putting together his show the Nightside with Andy O’ a special surprise occasion was in the offing.

Some on air hosts and members of Coyote Poets of the Universe were going to visit and perform holiday poetry live from Studio Flo for an impromptu holiday special. It was supposed to be live poetry but acoustic guitars and flutes were pulled out and Christmas magic happened live on The Nightside.

The following year the first “Nightside Before Christmas” elaborated on the previous year’s concept of holiday jazz and poetry. The next few year’s an audience and more performers were added as the show and broadcasted from The Phyllis A Greer Performance Studio.

So put on your ugly holiday sweaters grab your hot cocoa and tune in Sunday night, December 20 at 8 pm for “The Nightside Before Christmas” on KUVO JAZZ.
