Take Note with Susan Gatschet

Take Note offers classic jazz, blues, Brazilian and Latin jazz including the newest releases from your favorite, and soon to be favorite, artists!  Frequently featuring insightful interviews with both national and local musicians, Take Note offers a richly diverse listening experience thanks to Susan’s passion and deep knowledge of music.

A jazz fan since the age of 14, Susan Gatschet started volunteering at KUVO in 1996 and quickly gained a spot on the airwaves. Susan hosts Take Note, offering a richly diverse listening experience Monday through Friday from 1-4 pm.

An avid photographer, Susan has shot thousands of live performances across the nation. She

spends the weekends with her grandson Carter, enjoying the beauty of the Colorado outdoors and attending as many concerts as possible.
