Super Sonido y Natalia Lafourcade

For the second week of our Women’s History Month celebration, Super Sonido turns to Mexico’s “Natalia Lafourcade.”

“En el 2000” Lafourcade joined us while we dug through the racks at the Segunda. She was a queen for the young DIY generation, giving us not just validation, but “elephantes” too.

Lafourcade grew up right along with us mirroring our own maturing tastes and desires as she left Natalia y la Forquetina and moved deeper into folklore with Los Macorinos by her side. Her lullabies and “Luz de Luna” will continue to accompany us for years to come.
