Studio Club: Chicano Heat Band | Feb 24
KUVO welcomes the Chicano Heat Band to the Studio Club on Sunday, February 24 at 11 am to noon. Based out of Denver, the band has been together 7 years. Chicano Heat plays traditional Tejano and New Mexico favorites by Little Joe y La Familia, Ruben Ramos, Gonzalo, Al Hurricane, Jay Perez, La Differenza as well as the legendary Tejano artist Johnny Hernandez and much more…music similar to the what you hear on KUVO’s Canción Mexicana…definitely dancing music!
Heat Band is Larry LoBato-Saxophone and vocals, Mike Compos-keyboard, accordion and vocals, Greg Canchola-drums, Tony Compos-guitar and vocals, and Julian Rodriguez-bass and vocals.
Studio Club Members: Please contact Arvida arvida@kuvo.org to reserve seats for you and a guest. Not in the Studio Club? Learn how to join here.
Thanks to our Studio Sponsors: Classic Pianos, Denver Piano Tuning, Drum City Guitarland, Flesher-Hinton Music Company, The Koelbel Family Foundation, Listen Up, and Original Pasquini’s Pizzeria
