Special Guest Interview with Dealz Makes Beats —Thursday Night Jazz Odyssey

This week on the Thursday Night Jazz Odyssey Dele welcomes his first special guest of the new year, Dealz Makes Beats (DLZMKSBTS), to the show. A Denver native, Dealz is a prolific Hip Hop producer, master of the beatpad, and from time to time an improvisational freestyle MC.

With a new 14 track EP ‘LAYERED AF’ releasing on Friday, January 15, 2021, Dealz and Dele give KUVO listeners an exclusive listen to the project in its entirety. Dealz describes ‘LAYERED AF’ as “straight headphone music,” pulling out all the grooves, breaks, vocal samples, nature sounds, and rawness for his latest work of audio art. You don’t want to miss this exclusive first listen.

Dealz and Dele also connect about how he got his start making beats, crate digging, his favorite beat making tools, and his overall approach and philosophy to music production.
