RIP: Jim Barnes, Longtime KUVO Friend & Volunteer

It’s with great sorrow that we inform you of the passing of our good friend Jim Barnes. Jim passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 2:30 AM. 

Jim was part of the KUVO family for more than 28 years, both as a volunteer and major donor.

After retiring from a career as manager of a machine shop, Jim dedicated himself to volunteering a KUVO. He was responsible for the KUVO website Events Calendar, played a significant liaison role at festivals and concerts, and routinely managed KUVO’s pledge drive phone bank.

Jim will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by each and every one of us.

Jim’s life will be honored Tuesday, October 27 at 3 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home’s Aurora location (190 Potomact Street). Following the service, a reception will be held at Spring Hill Golf Course (800 Telluride Street) from 4:30 to 8:30 PM.
