Purnell Steen and Le Jazz Machine: Celebrating a Cool Yule, Five Points Style | Dec. 21

The “Cool Yule Express” arrives at DazzleJazz Station on December 21 for its annual yuletime stopover.

Purnell Steen and Le Jazz Machine will disembark and perform two shows – at 7 (sold-out) and 9 PM – with their usual gusto. 

Some of the finest regional artists will present their renditions of selected yuletime favorites. Counted among these are: Fred Fuller, bassist extraordinare; Jack Mccutchan, master percussionist; Hugh Ragin, (alias Gabriel), blowing some of the finest trumpet to be heard; and sax meister Max Wagner.

Rounding out the regular crew is legendary pianist Purnell Steen and sultry, smoky vocalist Myra Warren. Special artists in attendance will be Dave Atkinson on vibes, and songstresses Christine Ware and Ollie Smith.
