Programming Changes for 2020
Welcome to 2020. We are making some great programming changes for the new decade. Here are the changes you will be hearing the new year.
Monday – Friday
12 am -6 am – The Jazz Network (Dee Alexander midnight to 2 am, John Hill 2 am to 4 am, Dave Schwan 4 am to 6 am, on Fridays Leslie Keros and Dee Alexander split the midnight – 6 am hours)
6 am-9 am – Jazz with Steve Chavis kicks off an hour early and NPR News (starts 1/13/20)
Saturdays
12 am – 6am The DROP “Afterparty” – it’s a blend of neo soul, nu jazz, and The DROP’s hip hop mix, hosted by The DROP hosts Amerykah Jones, DJ Dif’Rent and DJ Unique. (starts 1/4/20)
10 pm-11 pm – On Stage hosted by Susan Gatschet moves to your Saturday nights (starts 1/4/20)
11 pm-midnight – NPR’s Jazz Night in America
Sundays
12 am-3 am – Bella’s Soulfresh (extended to 3 hours, starts 1/5/20)
3 am-6 am – The DROP “Afterparty” (starts 1/5/20)
6 am-7 am – Latino USA (starts 1/5/20)
8 am-9 am – The Gospel Train (starts 1/5/20)
9 am-1 pm – Canción Mexicana – the new earlier hour will feature more classic, traditional sounds, including mariachi music. (extended to 4 hours, starts 1/5/20)
4 pm-5 pm Super Sonido with La Molly (starts 1/5/20)
