Prairie Crossroad Exhibit | Now thru April 15
Prairie Crossroad is an exploration in poetry and photography of the racial and cultural diversity of Morgan County, Colorado. Presented by Hilary DePolo, Poet, and Kit Hedman, Photographer.
For the past 18 months Hilary DePolo, poet and Kit Hedman, photographer have been visiting Morgan County on the eastern plains of Colorado, conducting interviews and taking photos. The subjects come from around the world: the original German sugar beet farmers, laborers from Mexico, Central and South America, refugees from east and central African nations. Morgan County is a microcosm of the melting pot image of America. Each story and each image brings to our attention the importance of the new immigrant to this country.
