Paul Shinn Trio at Nocturne | Aug. 28

KUVO 30 Under 30 artist Paul Shinn will play with his trio at Nocturne Jazz & Supper Club August 28 from 7 to 11 PM. 

The Paul Shinn Trio will serve up original works and modern standards. 

Formed in the summer of 2013, the trio features bassist Dominique Sanders, drummer Ryan Lee, and composer and pianist Paul Shinn. 

A young trio carving out its own unique sound, the group seeks to maintain a healthy respect for the lineage of jazz piano trios while continuously pushing conventional boundaries of all sorts.

In January 2015, the trio released their second album “Easy Now: Live at the Green Lady Lounge,” featuring eight new compositions and arrangements that accurately transmits the energy of the band’s live performances into a recorded format.
