Throughout March, KUVO Jazz is celebrating women artists, as they were recorded in the Phyllis A. Greer Performance Studio.
Among the great performances captured at KUVO is saxophonist Laura Newman and A.O.A., trumpeter Ingrid Jensen, violinist Regina Carter, pianist Lenore Raphael, guitarist/vocalist Steph Johnson, saxophonist Anisha Rush and so many more!
The United States Congress designated March as “Women’s History Month” in 1987, and KUVO has been broadcasting women musicians from its studios almost that long.
Tune in to “On Stage” with host and producer Susan Gatschet for Women in Jazz, on Saturday, March 19, at 10 pm and Monday, March 21, at 7 pm. “On Stage,” a KUVO Jazz exclusive!
