On Stage: Vail Jazz @ Vail Square — Nachito Hererra

This Sunday, July 22, at 4pm, KUVO’s performance series “On Stage” heats up with the piano of Nachito Herrera, captured live at Vail Square!

Born Ignacio Herrera in Cuba, “Nachito” grew up as a piano phenomenon, performing with the Havana Symphony Orchestra at age 12. He’s played with orchestras world-wide, but his Latin jazz legacy was as the musical director for Cubanismo!  A composer and arranger, he’s toured the world’s top jazz festivals and gathered awards including Grammys, Emmys, the Immigrant of Distinction Award among others.
