On Stage: The Jazz Trio

This Saturday night, February 1, at 10:00 p.m., KUVO’s performance archive show “On Stage” showcases the most basic yet essential jazz configuration – the trio.

Over the past couple of years, KUVO has enjoyed a wealth of three-person combos for the benefit of listeners and Studio Club members. Note just a few of the trios we’ve presented LIVE on KUVO Jazz: the Ron Jolly Trio, Joao Donato Trio, Wendy Fopeano Trio, Big Swing Trio, Keel Trio, the Hal Galper Trio and more!  In April 2018, we hosted two very different sessions, from the straight-ahead Paul Romaine Trio to the explorative Joshua Trinidad Trio.  And the Larry Fuller Trio was with us in November 2018.  Imagine sitting up close as a triplet of individuals become one through the music!
