On Stage: The Girls are Doin’ It!

In just a few months, your weekly “deep dive” into KUVO’s archives have turned into a show not to be missed.  Throughout March, “On Stage” is celebrating women artists who performed live on KUVO from the Phyllis A. Greer Performance Studio.

A quick look at recent sessions over the past couple of years include Hazel Miller; Tenia Nelson’s tribute band to Thelonious Monk, Spherio; Carmen Sandim; Roxanne Brown; The Colleen Clark Collective; Expeditions (with drummer Clare Church); and more!

Susan Gatschet hosts “On Stage,” your weekly radio celebration of live and local music from KUVO!  The music you hear is rebroadcast as the sessions were performed live on the radio.  “On Stage” is heard Sunday afternoons at 4:00 p.m.  “On Stage,” a KUVO exclusive!
