On Stage — Miguel Espinoza Flamenco Fusion

Join us on Saturday, evening at 10, and Monday evening at 7 when On Stage presents Miguel Espinoza Flamenco Fusion.

Espinoza’s ensemble was the last band to play in the Phyllis A. Greer Performance Studio on February 28, 2020.

Miguel Espinoza Flamenco Fusion twists jazz, flamenco, Cuban and classical Indian musical forms into intoxicating journeys that thrill audiences. Described by Guitar Player Magazine as “mesmerizing, Espinoza has performed with Bela Fleck, Kai Eckhardt, Kitaro, Tuck and Patti, Rita Moreno, and Ben Vareen. Formed in 2018, they have been playing to sold-out audiences in the Denver area from the very beginning and were honored to receive Denver’s Westword 2019 Music Award for “Best of World Music”. Their 2nd CD, Veneta was released in 2020.

The group features Miguel Espinoza – guitar, Lynn Baker – soprano saxophone, Dianne Betkowski – cello, Randy Hoepker – bass, Andy Skellenger – tabla, cajón.
