On Stage—Martin Medeski & Wood and Los Hombres Calientes
KUVO’s performance series “On Stage” features archive performances from the Phyllis A. Greer Performance Studio.
On Saturday, October 2, at 10 pm and Monday, October 4, at 7 pm, you’ll hear jazzy funk from “Medeski Martin & Wood” who performed at KUVO in 1999. We’re also featuring the unique fiery mix of traditional “second line” jazz, Mardi Gras funk and deep, authentic Latin and American rhythm of “Los Hombres Calientes” who performed at KUVO in 2000.
Be sure to tune in on Saturday, October 2, at 10 pm and Monday, October 4, at 7 pm with host Susan Gatschet only on KUVO JAZZ.
