On Stage — Five Points Jazz Highlights

KUVO’s performance series “On Stage” features highlights from past Five Points Jazz Festivals and previews of bands playing this year.

Over the past 19 years, Denver’s Five Points Jazz Festival has earned a reputation as one of the most expansive free music festivals in a major American city. This year, more than 50 bands will be playing on 11 stages along the famed Welton Street, once known as the “Harlem of the West.”

We’ll pull a few tracks from KUVO’s live broadcasts from past Five Points Jazz Festivals, and share a few live tracks from the KUVO archive by bands playing at this year’s festival, including Rico Jones, Tenia Nelson Trio (TNT), Stafford Hunter and more!
