On Stage: Django Festival All-Stars

This Sunday, July 29, at 4 pm, KUVO’s performance series “On Stage” flat-out swings with the Django Festival All-stars, recorded live at Vail Square!

The Django Festival Allstars’ U.S. tour features five players whose string instruments (guitars, bass, violin) and accordion channel the brilliance and intensity of the Belgian master.  One of Europe’s greatest music families, father guitarist/violinist Dorado Schmitt and sons Samson and Amati, are joined by accompanists known for “hot jazz,” and the romance of the era.

It’s the Django Jazz All-stars from Vail Jazz at Vail Square on KUVO’s performance archive show “On Stage,” Sundays at 4 pm only on KUVO Jazz.
