On Stage: Celebrating Women in Music
Throughout the month of March, the KUVO on-air archive program “On Stage” is celebrating women artists, as they were recorded in the Phyllis A. Greer Performance Studio.
Tune in this Saturday, March 6, at 10 pm, as host Susan Gatschet presents performances from trumpeter Ingrid Jensen, Jane Monheit, saxophonist Anisha Rush, violinist Regina Carter, pianist Lenore Raphael, saxophonist Laura Newman and more.

The U. S. Congress designated March as “National Women’s History Month” in 1987, and KUVO has been broadcasting women musicians from its studios almost that long.
