New Sunday Airtimes for “Salsa con Jazz” & “Afropop Worldwide”

Here comes a mid-summer schedule shake up for Sunday afternoons on KUVO.

Beginning on July 23, “Salsa con Jazz” with host Janine Santana moves to 2 p.m.  It’s two hours of the best in salsa, mambo, Latin jazz and more, from traditional sources and new releases.

Sundays at 4 p.m., it’s KUVO’s new performance show “On Stage,” featuring great performances from around Colorado and beyond.  On July 23, host Susan Gatschet presents highlights from the John Boutté’s benefit performance for the Vail Jazz Foundation.

“Afropop Worldwide” with host Georges Collinet moves to Sundays at 5 p.m. on KUVO.

 

So here’s the full Sunday afternoon lineup:

6 a.m.    Latino USA with Maria Hinojosa

7 a.m.    InDigitNess Voice with Richard Two Elk

8 a.m.    La Nueva Voz with Jack Mudry

9 a.m.    The Gospel Train with Deborah Walker

1 p.m.    La Raza Rocks with Pocho Joe

2 p.m.    NEW TIME! Salsa Con Jazz with Janine Santana

4 p.m.    NEW! On Stage: Vail Jazz

5 p.m.    NEW TIME! Afropop Worldwide with Georges Collinet
