“Multi-instrumentalist Derrick Hodge releases his new album, “Color of Noize.” A native of Philadelphia, Derrick is now living in Denver. Hodge has always straddled the worlds of jazz and hip hop and has excelled in both music genres. His latest CD is a brilliant example of his talents.
Horizons Jazz Orchestra debut with “The Brite Side” featuring veteran trumpeter Carl Saunders, a swingin’ big band! Based in South Florida, the Horizons Jazz Orchestra was founded by Stan Kenton alumnus, Dennis Noday who is on trumpet alongside some of Miami’s best musicians.
Guitarist Jocelyn Gould “Elegant Traveler” with guest Michael Dease-trombone and Quincy Davis-drums among others. Originally from Winnipeg, Canada, Jocelyn is now based in NYC and is rapidly making her reputation as a fine guitar player and composer.
