Mile High Afro-Cuban with the Kent Denver Azucartones

This month on the High School Collegiate series we air a pre-recorded program from the very near past: We’re proud to present a broadcast with a Latin Jazz group from the Kent Denver School, the Azucartones , under the direction of Stephen Holley.  These young players recently absorbed the authentic sounds of Old Havana while studying in Cuba, and know their way around hot Caribbean rhythms.  Tune in and witness for yourself with your host Geoff Anderson this Tuesday, July 8th at 7:00 PM.
