Mentor Series: Bob Montgomery w/Telluride All-Star Alumni | Tuesdays

Nocturne Jazz & Supper Club’s first ever mentor series, presents trumpet player, educator, and composer Bob Montgomery who will be joined over a 5 week period by a select group of professional musicians who were once past students. Beyond an impressive list of well-earned accolades as a player, Bob’s rich legacy as an educator and mentor continues to influence the jazz world today. Bob is founder and director of the Telluride Student Jazz All-Star program held each year at the Telluride Jazz Celebration. For decades this program has helped hundreds of young jazz musicians enter the world of jazz as professional performers. Many of his past students are living throughout the world working at the pinnacle of their craft as jazz musicians.

Joining Bob throughout this series will be Telluride Jazz All-Star alums including:

May 15th: Rico Jones (sax)

May 22nd: Miles Lujan (trumpet)

May 29th: Dr. Josh Quinlan (sax)

Patrick McDevitt (bass), Annie Booth (piano), Alejandro Castano (drums) are on stage for all dates as the core rhythm section
