Luis Perdomo – Live Interview Performance | Mar 3

Pianist Luis Perdomo will visit with KUVO host Arturo Gómez this Friday, March 3 – 12:30 to 1pm. This exclusive performance interview will be broadcast on “Lunchtime at the Oasis.” In the relaxed setting of the Phyllis A. Greer Performance Studio, Perdomo and Gómez will discuss music and life, and Perdomo will play solo piano. Tune in and enjoy!

The native Venezuelan has been based in New York since 1993. Perdomo, with seven projects in his name and more than 200 recording credits, has been called “a rather amazing improviser” by the Village Voice. The New York Times lauded his “deep sonority, rhythmic aplomb, and ear for useful dissonance.”
