Louisa Amend joins Paul Donovan on Evening Jazz
On Thursday, September 5 at 4:15 p.m., Louisa Amend joined host Paul Donovan on Evening Jazz to chat about her Friday night residency at Nocturne.
Louisa Amend returns to the Nocturne stage for a four-week residency. This series’ focus is storytelling through music, including beautiful renditions of jazz standards.
Amend is a vocalist and educator based out of Denver, Colorado. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2016 with a Bachelor of Music Education and is a member of numerous premier ensembles (one earning a Downbeat Magazine best of award) and opera productions produced by the university.
