Looking at Sheryl Renee during Women’s History Month
With performances upcoming in Denver, Lafayette, and Lone Tree you will certainly not want to miss the amazing Sheryl Renee “The Lady with the Golden Voice”.
A longtime Denver actress and singer, this multi-talented woman has done a lot, whether performing “Live at the Rossonian” at the Crossroads Theatre, singing the National Anthem at the Colorado Rockies, performing in front of former Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, performing in “Beehive the 60’s Musical, performing with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra conducted by the late Marvin Hamlisch, or being asked to perform the National Anthem for former President Barack Obama when he was in town to sign the economic stimulus bill. This Denver East High School graduate shows time and time again that she is a versatile lady. It’s no wonder that Sheryl has been able to pick up some awards along the way, an Entertainer of the Year Award from African American Voice magazine, a Denver Post Ovation Award for Best Actress in a musical, and a Triumphant Woman Award.
