Local Love Spotlight – Mandy Groves

THE DROP is dedicated to empowering Colorado and it’s artists through discovery. We will be spotlighting a series of homegrown artists both on-air as well as through our Local Love Spotlight web series. Our first Local Love artist is Mandy Groves.

Mandy Groves is a singer/songwriter from Denver, Colorado who combines hip-hop, soul and funk with alternative lyrical elements. Growing up, She performed in musicals and talent shows in school and always had the dream of being a recording artist. In 2018 she released her first EP, Phases, followed by a single and a second EP, Blame, in May of 2019. Baring her soul with her music, she makes songs that anyone with a heart can relate to.

Mandy has been having an amazing year, finding self-empowerment through her music. Catch Mandy Groves at THE DROP’s Next Stage NOW pop-up bar and concert on Friday, June 14th, 2019 at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. The concert is free and the show starts at 5 pm. Hear Mandy on THE DROP during our Colorado Local Love show with Ontoneyo on Saturdays from 3 pm – 5 pm and Sundays from 6 pm – 8 pm.
