Live & Local — Anna Krantz Diaz previews ‘Pec Legacy show at Dazzle
Years after Denver’s famous jazz and blues club El Chapultepec closed in 2020, the passion for the music and the musicians is as strong as ever. Along with the Colorado Music Hall of Fame, the El Chapultepec Legacy Project is putting the band back together for an event called “Ode to the Early Days” on Sunday, July 21, at 6 p.m.
Anna Krantz Diaz (Jerry Krantz’s daughter) visited with Abi, Carlos, and Steve on The Morning Set with a few stories from the past and a preview of the show on July 21 at 6 p.m.
El Chapultepec and owner Jerry Krantz were recently announced as 2024 inductees into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame, and The ‘Pec Legacy Project hosts weekly showcases in the piano lounge at Dazzle.
