It’s a family affair, and the Balistreri crew cranks out 100,000-plus bottles a year from its surprising location in north Denver. Our hosts were Julie Balistreri (daughter) and Ray Balistreri (grandson). (Patriarch and winemaker John Balistreri was otherwise engaged.)
Morning Set hosts Abi Clark and Steve Chavis took a tour just a few weeks before KUVO’s 19th Live at the Vineyards signature fundraising event on August 17. Listen in as they showcase the wax dipping, labeling of the exclusive KUVO 2024 bottles featuring the band, new 2023 vintages (Tempranillo, Sangiovese, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon), as well as one of the prettiest venue spaces in town.
